Blabla if you ask me Nibali is getting weaker day by day.

This was the case in the Giro as well. At the end he got really bad. But there he had a downhill where he made up 1 minute he lost on the previous climb. Now he has nothing to recuperate that loss with.

Funny how just when you declare yourself to be in the Neebs camp, his performance lives down to all the negative words you said about it before.

Just thinking (hoping) that Sky might set a hard pace on and prior to the Angry Lu tomorrow and try and strip the pack down to limit their losses?

I wouldn't rule Nibali out just yet. He had his customary bad day, but the Angliru suits him and if Wiggins is a little bit weaker there he could easily lose lots of time. But in principle it's between Wiggins, Cobo and TGBM. Froome could win this if he wasn't working for Wiggins all the time.

I'm quite disappointed in Van den Broeck. I realize his form is not that good, but it's quite a contrast with Fränk Schleck's attitude last year.
Well... So far he has not.

Kash & Vino 06 replay. Only Vino >>> Wiggins.

All that will happen if Wiggins wins the Vuelta is that next July the British media will declare him the overwhelming favourite to win the Tour de France.

Which would be successful at drumming up a lot of interest.

I'm getting flashbacks to 2006. Only nobody's good enough to play Valverde to the comically dominant duo.

Look at the riders that are still within 100 seconds of them. They are not exactly dominating great grand tour riders.

Yea, basically the same. Only Vino and Kash are entertaining.

We'll leave the clinic implications to the clinic. Wiggins hasn't been that much of a surprise. Surprisingly strong, but that he's competitive has hardly been a surprise.

The guy had 6 weeks, of which he lost the first two weeks due to a collapsed lung in which he could do virtually nothing. He's in the top 10 and lost his 2 minutes in the TT. If you would make up a classification based on the mountains, he would still be within seconds. I'm not sure what people expect.

The problem is Mollema has to attack to win. But he can just about hold on to Wiggins/Froome, that's his limit.

Expect more to come from Cobo.

The Angrilu is a very diffrent climb to all the others were Wiggins and Froome did very well though. I don't see their tactics working tomorrow.
So if there is a climb they can be attacked it is tomorrow.

It's a minor miracle he could even start the race at all. I'm deeply impressed how well he does. Have you forgotten about his injuries at the Tour???
I haven't forgotten at all, hence the comment about his form not being that good. But he's good enough to be top 10, good enough to follow wheels when someone attacks (often before anyone else responds), but not good enough to try ANYTHING on his own?

I didn't ask you. :p

I criticized his attitude, not his performance.

What is wrong with this race, crazy things happening all over the place, never mind, whoever does the damage tomorrow will be a deserving winner.

That sounds like a damn good race if you ask me. I love it when crazy things happen all over the place.

Why do you want Froome and Wiggins to hate eachother. This is one of those sports where 2 rivals can be friends. Froome seemed very happy at the finish offering his hand to Wiggo.

Oh I'm not complaining at all, it's just impossible to predict. Just when you think you know it (e.g. Rodriguez coming good, Froome fading) it snaps back at you.

We will see how happy is Froome tomorrow when he has to stop help Wiggins instead of going for a GT win.:)
