It is funny how no one says Gilbert in their race predictions.
After all predicting that Phil will win would not be very bold.
Then again, the same can be said for Cancellara and Contador.

Predicting Contador is bold for obvious reasons :D

Plus Tour+Vuelta ain't easy, so it's a bold prediction as well. Predicting Cancellara over Tony Martin in WC TT or Olympic TT can also be called bold as I truly believe Tony Martin is better.

Andy Schleck to win the Tour if Contador is banned
Evans will not top 3 in the Tour AND won't win any stage race either
Gilbert to out-Gilbert Gilbert and win at least 3 monuments
Vande Velde will NOT crash out of the Giro, or the Tour
Pozzovivo to actually finish the Giro and top 10
Quim Rodriguez to win the Vuelta and/or top 3 in the Giro
No BMC drama to speak of between Gilbert, Evans and Hushovd. GVA acting like a little ***** as usual
Hesjedal will not top 5 in the Giro. Only a "bold" prediction on Cyclingnews but there you go
Valverde will top 10 in the Tour and win at least 1 stage
Frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooome to finish ahead of Wiggo in the Tour, if they both race it

Voeckler does not go on a stage hunting breakaway in TdF (that's the bold part)

He takes the confidence he gained by this year's performance, alters his training to work on TT, comes to 2012 Tdf 5 kilos leaner, hangs on Cadel's wheel in the mountains hoping for an opportunity to exploit. The big boys race conservative, he gets near the end of the tour in a top 3 position, chooses a spot to go on an all or nothing attack, his contenders discount the effort and Tomas Voeckler wins the tour. (ok, that part is bold also):)

After losing in a sprint on a flat stage at the a Grand Tour Cavendish will straight off give credit to the rider who won with no qualifications, excuses, etc.

Firts of all; say "Gilbert to out-Gilbert Gilbert" 20 times fast.
Second of all; wouldn't he have to win 4 monuments to out-Gilbert himself? The three he got this year (all the Ardennes are monument, right?) + 1...

Anyway. I predict that Jens Voigt will not at any point be seen pulling like crazy.

Lol, how random. Is this part of your campaign to mention Gesink in every post?

AGR ain't a monument. Wait, neither is FW, what am I saying. So he won 2 in 2011 (LBL, GdL).

Is this part of the Dutch mafia campaign to complain about which riders other posters talk about?

Lol, Zaugg won Lombardia. Gilbert won one Monument and 3 very prestigious classics.

No, not at all. Please continue discussing only Gilbert, Contador, and Boonen.

It's more a matter of this not being a bold prediction at all. Froome ahead of Wiggins (already did so in the Vuelta) and Gesink (he should be happy if he gets to start the Tour).

Then why did you just do it again?

Predicting Froome to finish ahead of Wiggo(who's not coming back from an injury anymore) at the Tour is actually pretty bold. Especially since he'll most likely do the Vuelta instead of the Tour.

Against a lack of any sense of humour, I'm powerless...

Anyway, my bold prediction: about 100 riders will finish ahead of Gesink at the Tour. The podium will be the same as it had been if there were no time trials in the race: Contador-Schleck-Schleck. With Jelle Vanendert in 4th ;)

Carlos Betancourt to top 10 Il Giro and podium in Il Giro di Lombardia
I can see Contador winning Tirreno - Adriatico just to send a message...

Gah, I shouldn't have tried to be clever.

He was planning to start it this year. Which is more then enough for me to ridicule him for. Besides he's equally useless at Roubaix and the Ronde than Lombardia. ;)

Farrar came 4th at RVV. Cav can get a good top 10 result too, and it is prestigious, which is why he starts.

Simple:cool:

I can see Andy out-climbing everyone but how is Frank, who isn't even a top 5 climber, and probably the worst tter of all the GC contenders going to get 3rd?

Everyone crashes out/ gets screwed, again?

He can't because he's not a good enough cyclist. Farrar is better in these kind of races. Just because a sprinter like Boonen won the Ronde twice and Roubaix 3 times doesn't mean Cavendish can do the same

Lombardia is prestigious, so he might as well start there as well! Hence my prediction.

Robbie Mcewen also sucks at the cobbled classics despite being a sprinter.
