Have you ever watched a stage with Joux Plane?

Its the Dauphine. They will be afraid to splash any drop of extra effort. only Contador could stir up the backwater on this race. I think it will be a bunch riding.

It's basically going to be a two stage race as far as the GC goes. Stay out of trouble till the TT, then go for it on the Joux Plane.

With an outside chance of some action on the final day if it's really close.

Yes, they've really lit up the races so far

What a boring course. Okay, it's a practice race for the Tour, but please don't make it so obvious.

almost 60km of ITT... is it a little bit too much?
It's a perfect preparation for this year's Tour, it makes sense. It doesn't mean I love it though.

This is a great profile. Lot's of possibilities.

I think Andy Schleck will chose the tour de suisse again, although it was said by Bruyneel he would start in the Dauphine but 60km ITT a few weeks before the TDF...

OK.. What is your prediction?
Leaders group completely shattered on the Joux Plane. A couple of pairs and trios making it to Morzine together before the rest of the leaders.

Look at the tdf route, it is good preparation for the race

yeah a good prep course and we'll know what to attend to in july but some MTF would have been welcome...

The lack of a MTF should make Morzine stage even harder.
@Airstream - don't worry, your group of 15 will be spread all over Joux-Plane.

And cyclingnews is sleeping. Not a single news about Dauphine.

One MTF finish may have been nice but the downhill finish after Joux Plane will be very exciting, escpecially for those of us who can go down hills better then we go up them

Will be a good game of poker between Wiggins and Evans. How much of your form do you really show?

I think Evans bluffed the TT on last year's Dauphine to some extent...

The Schlecks must be made to do this race IMO.

Joux-Plane rescues a poor route.

Quite something to consider that they've somehow managed to make a Grand Colombier stage that's acutally worse than that in le Tour!
