Nordhaug has spent the last 2 weeks with Julich in Monaco specifically to improve his TT ahead of this race. Will definitely be interesting to see how he goes. I actually have a feeling he'll end up on the podium in the end, but I guess I'm a bit biased!

Of course, if Froome does a very good TT then Nordhaug will probably have to sacrifice himself for Froome in the mountains.

everyone in sky works on their itt, that is nothing special. it's a need to be selected for a gt in the team.

Plus Thomas, Swifty and Kennaugh out of action because of this track malarkey. Really could have done with a bigger squad this year.

They have cut down their race programme a bit this year to allow for the smaller squad (28 compared to 30 in 2011) and for the three guys preparing for the Olympics. They should have been fine but they've just suffered a few too many injuries (Barry, Dowsett, Flecha) and illnesses (numerous).

this is eu rules I assume. he has no visa issues now. he had them in december which is why he couldn't attend trainingcamp of sky.

Ok, I'm just surprised with his lack of racing that he won't be at this one. Pais Vasco will be good preparation though.
