Puccio would have won the first stage if Mangel hadn't pushed him into the barriers. Shame for him.
Possibly. Seems like he's a really great talent. He looks quite slim as well, so I wonder how he goes on the big climbs.

He's doing Pais Vasco next, so we may find out. Though no doubt he'll be doing domestique work all week.

I like that Sky are being aggressive with their race programs for him and Rowe. Getting some tough races in early.

He was 6th on the stage that Nordhaug won in Mallorca. Not big climbs of course but still an impressive result for a neo pro.

Vogondy, Bennett (Radionshack) and MONTAGUTI(Ag2r) have 3.30.

Montaguti is at 13 seconds on the overall. Cant see much chance of them staying away.

I thought that yesterday. It was tactically better for Sky not to have leader's jersey today and let the other team bring the break, already having just 6 in their squad.

he hasn't done anything this year, if I am not wrong.

It's his first race, so yes ;) He rode first 3 stages at Algarve and the pulled out with chest infection.

oh ok. I think michael rogers or nordhaug is a much better bet for sky. froome is very unpredictable. Eurosport commentator saying the climb suits evans:rolleyes:
