in the last 2 km there is a hot spot though.100 meters at 10% would be enough for purito to have a go i'm sure.

I mean surviving like Hushovd on Mur de Bretagne.

Large procession up the climb - sprint for the win / bonus secs.

I don't think there are bonus seconds on any kind of mountain finish in this year's giro

There are tomorrow.

There won't be on stage 14, 15, 17, 19 and 20 though.

I still don't see what's the point. Bonus seconds are only awarded if there's a 100% certainty of a bunch sprint?

Uran to beat Cunego and J-rod in the sprint. This is the kind of finish Valverde would win on 11 times out of 10:D

TBH, I'll be satisfied if J-Rod doesn't lose a minute on other GC contenders on this stage

nah. I wouldnt choose this as a stage for J Rod to be dropped. He survived on the flat he should survive there.

That 10% bit at the end could even be a good place to launch.

Also, Moreno could be one of those to launch some attack while the rest of the peloton is strolling up the mountain.

Like he did on Sierra Nevada, though if he wins, hopefully will be with more honor.

Because Rodriguez is notorious for losing time on flat stages? Wait, no he isn't. Unless he's involved in a crash, but he doesn't have a rep of crashing a lot. Rodriguez often loses time on mountains actually. Well that and time trials.

This year his form seems to be fine however, so I'm sure he won't get dropped. ;)

Isn't Sierra de Bejar a similar climb to this one? And Purito lost time there in last year's Vuelta.

Anyway, for some reason I do expect Moreno to attack this weekend, but I've picked Sunday's stage for that

If Rodriguez is on last years Vuelta form then you are better off dropping your support for him now.

If he is on last year's Vuelta for, this Giro is going to be a bigger disaster for him than last year's (at least at the Vuelta he had 2 stage wins).
The two time-trials make me somewhat cautiously optimistic about his form. Sorta worried whether he'll be able to keep it up into the third week though.

Regardless, I would never drop my support for him even if he sucked this race as bad as the whole Katusha team in last year's TDF

Given the finish Meersman might like it, although i guess the climb is to difficult for him, so why not Visconti...

astana's shefer is saying that the group will be less than 30 tomorrow.the heat is very good i gotta say,the tiny climbers won't suffer much these days.
but less than 30 means someone will have to hammer it big time.i think liquigas and astana again.
