Can someone help me out.

I am listening to live streaming on Eurosport with English commentary. One guy is named Sean, does anyone know who the other guy is? (I am an Aussie so don't know names etc)

Anyway this guys seems to be able to translate a fair few of the riders interviews in different languages so was wondering out loud how many languages he can understand.

thanks

Yup, they say this guy have won Paris-Nice insane amount of times...Not sure if that's correct;)

I just wonder will they spread out the mountain stages more and not have them more crammed into the last week.

That would be better.

Obviously it has a lot or do with riding with the terrain, and hoping the entertainment will climax near the finish. In truth it's better then that anti-climax finish we saw at the vuelta last year and I don't think this giro has been bad so far. Of course it could be improved with one or two tougher stages in the first week or so.

Still easily the best gt course this year.

The commentators on Eurosport are Sean Kelly and David Harmon.

I am well aware that it is sean Kelly, I was just giving his name so you would know which lot of commentators I was listening too. I wasn't sure if there are different English commentators for different regions. I want to know the other guys nam

And the only one person to actually answer the question is a newbie, making this his first post. Good job, guys... Good job

CVV said that he absolutely needs the Giro to establish his race fitness for the Tour, so it's not surprising he's keeping a low profile. I don't think he will be one of those finding an excuse to abandon. Just hope he gets through unscathed this year.

Looks like the majority of people haven't even watched previous editions of Il Giro,2004, for instance. I mean, complain for this year's route is just a blashpemy...

I have seen all the GTs from 2002, but yeah, maybe it's just the last two Giro what make me feel like that playing a minesweeper party is more enjoyable than watching the Giro. Especially when you can predict that stages like this will be win by Cavendish.

I assume she was hoping for an answer not a condescending remark ;)
It's David Harmon (I assume, not watching Ed ATM) btw.

He clearly hasn't been here long enough to know that being helpful and not mocking other posters is inconsistent with forum etiquette.

Still this Giro is 99 times better than the first two weeks of TDF.

I will certainly bring this behavior of his to mods' attention, and this is blasphemy. Pure blasphemy, I say. :D

(Damn this is one boring a$$ stage)

Am I the only one not finding this giro boring (I do love the giro tho, easily my favorite race of the year)? And man it is only going to get better

It would be interesting for the giro to do 3 massive dolomite stages in the 2nd week and then move south to do the appenines and the tirreno hill finishes in the 3rd week.

There have to be decisive stages in the 3rd week, else it just ends up like post-Angliru Vuelta 11 - dull. A route like you suggest would be relying on GC still being very close after the big mountains which is relatively unlikely.

He finished 52nd in the giro in 2008 before finishing fourth in the tour that year so would have thought he will follow the same plan unless Hesjedal performs amazingly.

You foreigners really need to understand cricket, to appreciate Pro-cycling.

Which is more impressive; finesse or panache?

Yes, that's evident :D The only reason I wait for the Tour is that I like Wiggins, and I want him to win it.

Not necessarily boring but not overwhelmingly interesting.

It also seems to be going on for ever today. Usually my live feeds kicks in with well under 100kms to go and this time it was over 100kms to go when it first started.
