I'm watching british eurosport streaming online (steephill link) and they are showing yesterdays stage. Is anyone getting today's stage yet?

Rai delayed live till 14.30 Paris time, so in 3 minutes or so they go live

TROUBLESHOOTING - Make sure you click the RAI.BAT File and not FFplay.exe, if you only get the one window install dotnet framework (linked above).

Everyone waits upon RAI
Eurosport's forthcoming schedules are "ambitious", to say the least.
Will never happen.
I reckon another 30 minutes before they go live.
(RAI around now)

The descent off col de Joux could see some troubles for Basso, Rujano, Pozzo...
Also, it is about 4 degrees at the finish. Bad news for the latter two.
Frank Schleck could also suffer in the downhill and lose time.
I hope there are no falls.
They are about to hit the climb of col de Joux.

+ 1 its nearly 20 years since i followed cycle racing so apart from the team leaders i need to find out all about the other riders etc and this forum is a great help.

I started following cycling again 2 years ago. You will learn the names pretty fast, the faces are harder though with the helmets and sunglasses.
That was a lot easier back in the ol'days.

Hmm, actually I thought them being non-contenders would mean they'd get a longer leash and thus more of a chance to stay away... no?

Well, they certainly have a huge lead, you may be right.

12 mins for the break. Looks like they will mop up the KOM pts on the first climb and the sprint bonuses. Maybe the win as well

if Kreuziger is going to podium he have to show some really good racing today. On the steeper mountains next week he will almost guaranteed loose alot of time

I was asking in general - if the break has a bigger chance or not, when a bunch of non-contenders escape in a stage like this... But yeah, in this case it does.

I thought there would still be intergiro bonuses ? Although reading the regulations it's not that clear
no, also intermediate bonuses have been dropped.

How's Rujano in this **** weather? Is there anyone who's particularly good in rain/cold? Kreuziger maybe? (he sucked in that one Trentino stage, but he said it was a hunger knock)

Kreuziger likes warm weather, he doesn't like cold. It can be a problem today.

On the other hand though, it can be very hard for the non entities to maintain an advantage when there is so much climbing.
