Anyone knows what happened to Hermans yesterday? He finished 9 minutes behind...

From his twitter after the prologue "Think I can say that this was my worst time trial I ever did. Fighting against some virus again"

Really sucks, he has a lot of potential

Of course, Bos is an ex-teammate of Xavi's from Cervélo. It would be nice to see. I think Bos gets an awful lot of undue criticism and mockery, and as a big fan of Xavi's I think it would be lovely both for Xavi and for Theo.

I have to say though, I can't see Bos winning the anniversary stage though!

Break of the day (according to Movistar's twitter):

Navardauskas (Garmin)
Keizer (Vacansoleil)
Mínguez (Euskaltel)
Hollenstein (NetApp)
Balloni (Farnese Vini) - GPM leader
Christensen (Saxo Bank)

Bos could've killed someone with his dangerous riding behaviour in the Tour of Turkey few years ago. Doesn't get enough criticism. He should've been banned for 2 years.

looks one big group to me...a bit stretched yet all the riders are together

...Danish boredom all over again!

Danish? No, organizors boredom.

Alex Pedersen and other locals had suggestions for an exiting and challenging route today , but the new Giro-organizors said no. It seems they just wanted 2 safe sprint stages in Denmark.

It was a spur of the moment thing.

It was dangerous, reckless, and stupid, and he deserved the suspension he got for it... but he's served that now, and hasn't done anything like that again. It wasn't brazen, unapologetic cheating like doping is, it was just panicking and being an idiot. If he does it again, then sure, give him a huge suspension and give him hell. But he hasn't, more than likely won't, has been given a suspension to make him recognise that it isn't acceptable, and should be allowed to live his life. Impey has forgiven Theo, and we should too.

Well Bos got ONLY 1 month of suspension, not a real punishment one could say...one could also argue that what he did there is even worse than doping since he put at risk the lives of others.

Anyway what's done is done.

Uran isn't working. Henao isn't there for GC. He's there to help Uran, ride a 3 week GT, and hopefully win a stage.

dear god!! f;n idiots at sky have henao work today :L
Well, there goes his chances of a good GC, at least if they do the same on the remaining flat stages...Kinda ridiculous really, considering how close Navardauskas is on GC Sky should've just asked for more help from BMC instead of using up their GC contenders on the flat.

Haha, is anyone surprised at this?
Yes, actually. He can only help so much in this kind of stages (read: not much), and what if something happens to Urán? Seems like a waste of his talent, even as a helper.
