caught behind the crash, I guess.
Captain Sensible said:I was just asking that's all as I was only wondering why some people hate Cav that's all .my reply was not a go at anybody just another question .
El Pistolero said:Because he's a jerk. Shown many times in interviews, his actions on the road and the opinions of some of his colleges(not to be confused with team-mates). And I'm not just talking about interviews 5 minutes after a race, but interviews at any given time or day.
To give you one example of many:
When Cavendish got dropped at Gent-Wevelgem after the final ascent of the Kemmelberg, he had the guts to complain on twitter that someone was stupid enough to leave a gap on the descent of the Kemmelberg while being in the top 30. You know who was behind Cavendish on that descent? Rojas.
Cavendish always finds someone else to lay the blame at, but never him self... It's pathetic. As someone else said here: he's a great winner, but he'll never be a great champion. And if you want another example then I suggest you take a look at his interview made right after his victory in Milan-San Remo. Down right sad. What a little baby he was there.
All this has nothing to do with nationality.

Despite all of this, I don't actually hate Cavendish though. I merely dislike the fellow.

While you're at it, have you found that mythical video of Cav saying he would have beaten Boonen at GW yet?
The Hitch said:So you hating all British riders with a passion, has absolutely nothing to do with them being British. Its just 1 big coinky dink that with the possible exception of Schleck, the 3 riders you spend most of your time hating on are Geraint Thomas, Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish, and that you also cant find a kind word for Froome and Millar?
El Pistolero said:I don't like riders combining two sports and trying to make us buy products that don't work(Geraint Thomas) plus I think he's over-rated by some here. I don't like riders who win most of their races in time trials, I'm a fan of cyclists who attack on mountain stages and what not.

hatcher said:Seriously? Boonen says Cav can't climb, so Cav says he enjoyed passing Boonen on a climb. What a monster.
The Hitch said:Yet you love Levi Leipheimer, but absolutely despise Wiggins.
El Pistolero said:I "love" Levi because people on this forum were going ballistic on the Tour de Suisse thread when he won the race.![]()
Besides, he actually does attack during races. It's not because it's on American soil that it doesn't count.I would advise you follow him a bit more.
El Pistolero said:Then why was I glad he won the race at Tour of Suisse?(I'm sure you'll be digging through my posts to find that out)
Your trolling is getting pathetic Hitch. Let me guess, I already knew there that he would sign for Quick Step.![]()
