Doesn't seem like anyone is interested in the KOM this year (apart from Golas who got dropped out of the chasing group)

Amador picked up 22 points yesterday and is in the break today... he might be tempted to give it a tilt, perhaps.

I've just started watchin so correct me if I'm wrong but Rabottini is 9'42 ahead of the "peloton" and then the group with Cunego, Amador, Larsson etc. is 4'20 ahead of the peloton?

Alex leading the peloton. Did he suck the climbing-strength out of Fränk in their encounter?

This stage is destined to be won by the break probably Cunego. Whether Pinotti/Cunego will take the Maglia Rosa is going to be tight.

Aussie commentators so much better value than P and P. In an interview one asked Frank if he planned to attack and win the Giro, Frank's answer was non commital. Later when referring to Frank the other commentator noted that he doesn't think winning the Giro may never have been in Frank's mind.

Ryder will lose the pink anyway. Can undestand they won't chase that much.
Not much they can do even if they wanted to. Garmin is weak. So is (I think) Liquigas. Astana will have to work.

Garmin shouldn't commit too much to the chase. Not sure they have much anyway.

Where are Katusha ?

In the break (chasing group) :D

Peloton not making ANY ground on the solo breakaway.
So they
a - holding back
b - suck
