No Acqua, no Coldeportes. :(

Still, Coldeportes get Lombardia, San Remo and Tirreno, not bad.

I'm glad that Colnago got to ride, but Aqua deserved it just as well.
Alas for Coldeportes
I think Di Luca cost them their invite though

And Netapp :L
Oh well, cheering for Reto Hollenstein then in may

I suppose in one way it's a very international lineup of wild cards

Netapp - German
Androni - Italian team with South American leaders
Colnago - Italian team registered in Ireland
Farnese Vini - Italian team registered in GBR

Most ridiculous wild card since NGC Medical were originally invited in 2008.

To think that Vacansoleil couldn't even get a Giro wildcard when it started in Holland... NetApp certainly have done something right.

And Ryo was wrong about something? Colour me dumbstruck.

Quoted just because

Libertine will not be happy either :D

Team Netapp wasn't even among the 10 possible choices on this thread.
I know that they are trying to build a big team for the future and become WT but they scored 0 wins last year!
And if they wanted a non-italian team with German flavor, they could've picked 1t4i.

I'm not sure 1t4i even wanted to ride the Giro? They don't have the team to handle 3 GTs in one year.

Plus NetApp probably have better climbers than 1t4i on board (in the land of the blind, etc.)

Sad, Sad. I will wait for official confirmation, but when you look at the alternatives, Colnago and NetApp wouldn't be part of my pick for sure. I'm especialy sorry for A&S. They have done and can do more than Colnago at the Giro.

Colnago are much much weaker than in previous years, should've missed out for A&S imo. Must be Di Luca, although he rode last year for Katusha...
