Ah yes, the great "climber" who has never shown any talent for climbing.
LOL, I agree. I made a thread about his climbing once on here which got a response from Mick Rogers to not put to much pressure on him. Anyway, I think Tim Roe, Lachlan Morton or Rohan Dennis are more liekly to be good climbers than Cam Meyer.

its time finally for BMC to unleash the twin beasts!
EVANS AND GILBERT **** YEAH WIN THIS GUYS!

I agree. FFS BMC! Let's do something. It is March FFS! I do think Cadel won't make a costly mistake like last year and give Scarponi a massive headstart on this climb. He'll be right up there tonight.:)

Pretty decent coverage on tv from Rai, over the weekend. With any luck, there should be 2.5-3 hours, today, starting in 1.

So much for no snow on the Lancarno.

What price tomorrow's MTF?

Average race speed >35kph, but I have no idea how far they have traveled.
Race updates aren't great.

Gazzetta live ticker:

"Vegni Mauro, director of the Tirreno-Adriatico, on tomorrow's stage: "If the good weather forecast should be confirmed there will be no problem reaching Prati di Tivo. There is a bit 'of snow at the roadside but road would provide the necessary security to the smooth operation of tomorrow's stage. "

Isn't the key difference tomorrow that they won't descend from the high mountains? Icy roads on a downhill will probably yield the same amount of complaining as we see from Andy on a sunny day.

Looks like they're working hard on keeping the road clear. Hopefully some warmer temps will melt what they can't get off the road.

Snowing here too at 6500 ft/ some er a 2000m. Weird.

To bad on the day though. That was some majorly excellent profile. :(
