The point doesnt always have to be to win the stage or even make back time, but they need to make Sky work. Nibali and Evans will recover better through the rest of this tour then Rogers and Porte.

The only chance is to crack those 2, to isolate Wiggins and Froome.

Nibali / Evans / VDB attacking on descents wont use up much energy, but Rogers / Porte pulling them back on the climbs will cost them energy.

Plus, like someone else said earlier, it might make Sky make a mistake on a descent. Rogers went wide earlier on the last descent and could have crashed out very easily, but was lucky. Another mistake on the next descent, and he might not be so lucky...

Nicely put

Lelangue peddling his usual crap on TV : "Evans is fine, we tried, blah, blah, blah..." - Lelangue must remember Toussuire well when his previous "protégé" bonked big time in 2006. I still don't understand how Cadel could go work for that clown...money and he got a TDF out of it so I guess its ok.

So how stupid has RSTN been today? Zubeldia is their best chance. Kloden, Schleck, and Monfort should have been pulling him up the mountains on their wheels for as long as they could (not Horner since he's been in the break). Let me guess... they've done nothing of the sort?

Awww hell, crap luck for Horner with that mechanical.

I am not sure that is true, can't see any evidence to support that.

Picture yourself on a bike on a mountain,
With Rogers, Froome, Porte and some other guys.
Evans attacks, but you ride back quite slowly,
And smile at those BMC tries.

Cadel can't keep up with Van Garderen,
Towering over his head.
Look for the man with yellow on his back,
And he's gone.

{CHORUS}
Bradley in the Sky with diamonds,
Bradley in the Sky with diamonds,
Bradley in the Sky with diamonds,
Ah... Ah...

Very good

How many hours did that one take

Evans couldn't even keep up with TJ when he made his move. Face it, it wasn't so much Sky shutting him down as it was Evans not having it in him today.
