Cav can win anytime he wants to - it's that simple. He's by far the best right now.

Quite a few great sprinters have been dominant without trains - Zabel comes to mind - you just have to be smarter.

Lol they said he couldn't win because his speed diminished. Not that he can't win without a train.

Don't be a revisionist your self ;)

It's obvious to anyone Cav's chances to win increase with a train, but he can still win without.

Cut the crap.

No no many moaning on about All the support for wiggins, only bernie helping him etc. Why did anyone think a kilo or 4 would impact his speed so much? I dont understand that, I doubt he focussed on reducing thigh circumference.

Anyway I dont give a ****, all the haters can lump this one, I dont see how anyone can say other than Chapeau to Cav for that one it was a great sprint and a great winner

Peter Velits 13th - must have been working off some annoyance at losing time yesterday.

Mick Rogers got back into the peloton after his late problem. Some guys did lose 20 seconds, like Vino, vanendert, porte, but doesnt look like anyone who had big GC hopes. Danielson was last man before the 20 seconders.

Sagan was taught a lesson in positioning and holding a wheel. He was sitting in perfect position behind Griepel but then got pushed off by Cav, then Goss and finally Veelers. He's a great young talent but not quite in the league of the big sprnters yet.

Sagan proved he can't position himself with the best, nor sprint with them. He was on Greipel's wheel and physically moved out of the way by Goss and then Cavendish. When the sprint started he went backwards. 6th, but never looked like competing

Sagan is not a pure sprinter...clearly he was just trying to finish top 10 to rack up points.

Yep he still has to prove he can be competitive in a GT sprint like this but he probably will soon enough. He surely had to be a bit dead after a big effort yesterday

Given his bike handling skills it shouldn't take many times for him to learn and not get pushed off the wheel like that. Whether he's got the sprint in him or not I doubt he lets that go on too long.
