I'm not saying its wrong, just that people are angry at them... it's a good tactic if you are lucky.
I think if they keep it consistant then teams will respect them for that, at some point :)

Vande Velde and Danielson were both caught behind the crash, though neither were involved. That's who they are working for.

If they can keep the gap to a minute or so then they might be allowed to catch up when the break is brought back, not nice to put the foot down after a big crash like that.

Bala...any sprinters still in the front part? How big is the field???

Front it's unclear. The group really looked small. 50-60 riders only? I think it's swelling though.

Then there was a smal group with 10-15 riders inclduing gilbert, but I think they just reconnected

Then there is a last group, rather large, with a bunch of Garmin boys, Cav, Renshaw, Farar is likely.

The distance between those and the peloton could very well be 45s or more.

Sammy Sanchez has a problem with his shifter. Don't know where he is. Just behind the main (first ) peloton it seems.

Guess it's an indication of cyniscism that I judge how bad the slight barbed wire incident before was by at least they're still wearing pants...

It's not very nice, but I can't see the teams at the front easing off now. Three different teams (Liquigas, RSNT and now BMC) have been hammering it.

Judging by the speed of the breakaway going up that climb we should see some fireworks from the main field.
