Who'd choose to be a sprinter, so many random, unavoidable crashes.

At least with the HTC train we had far fewer prangs.

Monday Cav finished 1st, Sagan 6th.

Today Cav crashed, so Sagan finished 5th.

He's found his level anyway.

That's a bit of an unfair way to spin it when you are talking about a 22 year old. He's faster than anyone else in the peloton was at that age. Even Cavendish was happy to pick up a couple of top 10s when he was 22 and in his first Tour. And Cavendish sure as hell wasn't winning tougher stages at the same time.

Sagan is not right now as fast on a completely flat sprint as the very best. But he's close and he's still improving. If any other 22 year old got a fifth and a sixth on his first two flat Tour stages he'd be hyped as the next coming of Cavendish.

You see what you want to see. On the other hand, I'd like to hear your definition of 'joy'.

The first hour of today's Tour of Austria was pretty joyous.

Just giving you a friendly reminder that LOLing at riders potentially getting hurt in a crash can get the mods on your back, nothing more.

Take it, or as I suspect, leave it.
