Did anybody own up for causing yesterday's crash?

Last I read, Eisel clipped a wheel ahead, and so brought Cav down too.

As Cavendish didn't blame anyone on twitter it must have been Bernie.

ya, Bernie did, and said he was sorry, he got boxed in, hoping nobody would move until he could back out, but Goss came across a little bit, Bernies fault for sticking his nose in there, but they do that all the time and usually get away with it, that doesn't happen with a good train, Cav is peeved, much more dangerous freelancing

Poor Eisel, he's*like a Mother to Cav.

That should fire them both up to make up for it today.

Kittel just abandoned.

Whew! Thank goodness I didn't include him in my fantasy team! That stinks though, i was really looking forward to having every top sprinter going for it on that perfect flat stage...Sprint Heaven!

Hunter's comments:
"I have no idea what caused it but I do know what took me down. The Bike of Eisel went straight into my front wheel and I had no chance of even trying to get out of the way. Front wheel locked up tight and I went flying… I landed pretty hard on my upper back and I can definitely feel it now."

What "z" of the zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs have I missed today.

just checking in to see if you guys are all behaving now there's nothing to talk about but lush cabbage fields, flammable blue trucks, and women's behinds.

I see a snoozersprintz coming up in 2k.

OLE.

Some reading matter...

Insights into Cav's off-bike character from those closest to him, including his almost-Missus.

I particularly liked his first coach's comments...
Q/
Early coach and mentor at Manx Wheelers on the Isle of Man -- "I remember once, when he was about 13, telling Cav that one day he would be a world champion and when that happens to “not go forgetting your old mate”. A few years later..."

Well, as expected watching this stage is about as exciting as watching the live ticker from the Tour of Austria. Which one to pick? Choices, choices

How people are behaving on the CN forum?

Or that we, understandably, are getting side tracked.

Have some fun today, but don't rip each others heads off.

Please.

ah beautiful. Chateau de "twelve in a dozen".

Ah, thought you were having a go by the lack of action in the race which seem a bit unreasonable considering the profile and the kilometres left.

The fun on CN seems to be in the clinic today ;)

I am hoping for a clean sprint and maybe an early catch and some solo efforts in the final Ks. Chavenel again? Cav today judging by the 80% at the mid sprint.

But Saturday begins to loom.

No lack of attack there.
