movistar was stupid to call back costa to help piti, costa eventually dropped piti anyway

what happened to the raboguys? were they simply dropped?

we always knew the 1 climb only stages suited wiggins to perfection, let's hope he struggles on the proper mountain stages otherwise this could be boring . . . .

Sadly it's all over for VDB. Now time to look for next year. What a disappointing TDF...at least for me.:(

WTH happened? It looked like a mechanical problem.

So a guy who a year ago couldn't climb and couldn't timetrial destroys the field in the most prestigious bike race in the world...
I'm of to Tenerife.

Me too. Tenerife is such a terrific place. Happy memories... Completely sold to that place, it's heaven on earth.

And I'm serious about that.

Cuddles looks relaxed at the finish, I think people that are writing him off already are crazy. He almost seemed happy at the finish, like he's enjoying himself.

Lol. I'm Dutch and I don't cheer for Gesink. It is possible, mind you.
Yeah, but you have a typically Dutch counter-reaction: hating on everything the guy does. That's not objectivity.

Let's hope for Cadel's famed recovery to kick in in the third week, otherwise this could feasibly be a Sky 1-2. Dear Christ.

You probably should have alleged doping before you predicted they'd all get dropped, it would be a stronger look.

Who's says I haven't?

I usually don't like to voice those sorts of things against riders that are still riding. I like to give them the benefit of the doubt but that was just completely rediculous.

Rogers is ****, Porte is ****. They dropped everyone except Nibali and Evans.

And you want to talk to me about credibility? You have a big enough post count to know bull**** performances when you see them. Or maybe you don't I don't know. You are a Sky fan. But anyway from someone that has watched alot of cycling that was not a credible performance. Plain and simple.

I feel confident you'll all join with me in congratulating Mr. Bradley Wiggins on assuming the Maillot Jeune in the 2012 Tour de France.

All together now...

Hip Hip....

Hooray. Nice to see your Southern Hemisphere guys dominating. Big up to Nibs for keeping us Northern guys in the chase.

Peloton split before the start of the proper climb. They were left in the second half but still lost more time than they would have done just because of that. Maybe Mollema would have finished somewhere between Schleck and Sanchez if they hadnt been in the wrong half (i think they were all in the wrong half anyway, at least some were).

getting dropped by the US Postal train and finishing every stage in sixth place

getting dropped by the UK Postal train and (hopefully) finishing every stage in sixth place

Great JVDB flatted... This Tour is cursed for me. Everyone I like so far has already crashed or had a mechanical at the wrong time.

Wtf... I barely ever talk about Gesink at all  I've even written him before this Tour and wanted him to do well.

But yeah, I guess boomcie was right after all.

Besides VDB2, I was hoping better for Gesink and Samu. But at least we have a good battle shaping up with the top 3 or 4 on the overall GC. Should be interesting.
