That's why I hope he will pull out. Now he's on a 2011 repeat

I still find it strange, despite his fall. I saw him in an interview the night of the fall and he was pretty upbeat and said he hardly had any pains or anything. He was in much better spirits and condition than the 2011 crash.

About yesterday, the little I read was that he said he just blew up at the start of the climb. Is that due to the crash, or is he just not good enough?

The rest of RAB also seem to be off. another disappointing TdF is in the cards.

Surely better to pull out and ride the Vuelta now. Or is he going for a stage win tomorrow :D

In a regular year, an easy call to make, but when Contador and Brother Andy are both riding it as their only GT of the year, it's a lot harder to cut it off.

Nearly as good as yesterday's ride...

He proved himself a good rider in the classics
A good sprinter in the Dauphine
And now a good climber in the Tour..

Don't be disrespectful to the first 60 km of this stage. It has been twice the race than yesterday.

However, due to the early uphill stages I know for sure know at least Gesink and Mollema WERE good before the fall. They were simply up there..
Last year even that was an unknown.

Yep EBH back though Porte seems to be towards the back of the peloton

Gallopin gone but Pinot is looking strong...

That's true. In Seraing they were up there. On the other hand, that was one stage and I don't know how they would have fared yesterday without the fall.

Kruijswijk lost a lot of time. 3m for Gesink and 2 for Mollema.

I don't know. Perhaps it's the morale that's down, with Wijnants, Tjalingi out with serious injuries. All GC hopes lost, knowing it's another failed year. That certainly doesn't help either.

Impressive ride by Sagan at the moment too.
