Just tuned in:

2 guys ahead (kessiakof), followed by de weert and kruijswijk, larger group with LTD gallopin, moncoutie, mollema, weening, kern, hoogerland, then peloton, then dropped gesink and lls?

Click on the groups and you can see who is there

Sammy Sanchez had a crash earlier and has abandoned with a probable broken collarbone. Valverde also involved but is back with peloton

Anything in particular with Gesink? Bad, or dropping to purposefully lose time?

Recapping, 10-12 people got dropped very early on. The elimination time will be quite long today but some people could struggle to beat it. Cav wasnt one of the first to get dropped and was actually on the front for a while. Was dropped though along with Eisel

No idea why Liquigas is riding on front. Even if you want to set things up for Nibali, make Sky doing all the work before the final climb and then launch him. Should be all about GC.

Sagan for next win ?

Phil and Paul announced 15% for the elimination time for what that's worth.

Not sure how accurate their dropped riders info is. Pretty sure they are all dropped but not sure if they are all in the same group.

They wouldn't turn teir noses up at a stage win with Nibali either I bet.

Nearly as good as yesterday's ride...

He proved himself a good rider in the classics
A good sprinter in the Dauphine
And now a good climber in the Tour..
