Costa seems more talented than Voeckler ever was and he seems to be more of a climber than Voeckler, I doubt he will be as attacking considering he is a better TT and climber

It is easy on the first couple of flat sprint stage on stages like these which are very likely going to a break it is very competitive.

Albasini and Sagan also having a go, it seems as if Sagan is determined to get the intermediate sprint points.

Have you seen the profile? As I see everyone wants to be in the break, because it's easy to predict, that they could survive.
