So the timing went wrong after all. Matsport.fr is behaving weird the last few days. Not so reliable as in the past

It's the guys in cali screwing up probably

He has the excuse of not being a particularly good time triallist.

Horner was 6th in last year's time trial, 51 seconds behind Zabriskie. Leipheimer was only 14 seconds behind Zabriskie. I'm not surprised that a recovering Leipheimer lost more time this year, but what's with Horner? He's dug himself a big hole today in the GC hunt.

Sagan at 45sec at the intermediate time, so we can officially call this a non-Sagan day now.

Whoa, TJs time has be revised he in in 3rd now.
Still a bad 2nd part. He was 2s ahead of Zabriskie and 19 ahead of Gesink, he finished 34 behind of Z-man and only 5s ahead of Gesink.

Makes sense. He lost a fair bit of time in the second half of the course, but he'd have to have popped entirely for him to have lost as much as originally described.

So what was Horner's actual time? Was his timing messed up as well?
Horner only started a minute after TJ, don't think he was over a minute behind at the finish, but then I wasn't really paying attention.

I don't think so - was he really more than one minute after TJ at the finish line?

He started in front of TJ and finished behind, with +30 seconds. So I think
36 1 Christopher HORNER RadioShack-Nissan 00:02:50

is pretty accurate
Accept that Horner is past it in time trials
