It's not that long, I've been up there, but it doesn't stand out in my memory. I think they are doing it because Beaver Creek is $$$$$

also, Tennesee Pass is almost flat (you hear that Mellow?) It's not really a climb, but more a divide between drainages...

Well, that was yesterday.

Besides, I think "our team is in really bad shape, so BMC should do our share of the work too" doesn't exactly fly. Sure, if you bring a strong team, you should do a lot of work, but a team who should be strong but isn't because their preparation was crap doesn't really have standing to complain.
