LOL, Katusha makes tempo. Do we hate Purito and Co. too now?
Or is he spain, so no place to hate him?

Just a dumb move from both of them. Is no doubt going to backfire. Even if it's not this Vuelta, it will be backfire on you sooner or later. Karma's a *****.

BMC

What is with this ridiculous whining from you? This has been explained to you have a dozen times. Sky are the main movers, therefore Sky get the most attention for it. Katusha are the junior partners, so they get less. And the other teams aren't working.

I'm whining about the whiners. This is cycling! This isn't the first time for that it has happened and it certainly won't be the last.

1993. Tony Rominger won the stage and took over the leader's position from his countryman Alex Zülle. Rominger held the yellow jersey until Madrid.

Which means my memory abandoned me yesterday and Kelly's win in 1988 was not the only time a road stage ended at Valdezcaray.

DOH. I'm a moron. I'm the one who wrote the wiki article on that vuelta, how the heck did I forget that? :D

You aren't really though. You are whining about people singling Sky out for something Sky were in fact the main movers in.

BMC just wants some tv time for the sponsor.

Oh and I hate time gaps due to crashes. Not making it any more heroic.

Unzue saying on TV Sky caused the crash. By trying to cause echelons, I suppose?

Unzue only has himself to blame.

Movistar fancied an easy day, had no pace on the front, wanted to give up the jersey, failed to see the crosswinds and left themselves open to an attack.
