So you can't imagine teams and individual riders that are modest and realistic - having lower goals and being happy with less than a win?

Of course I can. But I'm not buying that one you came up with about him celebrating like that for a fourth place. No way. It was just an honest mistake of him.

Basically that Froome didn't look good, thus I presume he decided to attack.

At the same time McGee says he held back cos the climb was to easy and he didnt want him to waste alot of energy for marginal gains

It is an intresting article indeed. I dont think Froome is as strong as we previously thought. Probably good though that AC didnt carried out more attacks given how the finished looked like. He played it cool until bigger things such as Bola.

lol. Google translated said something like Froome was thin today.

Yes, "fino" means thin too, "estar fino" is an expression what means to be good

Ye classy. they even caused the crash and then took advantage of it.

Version de la caída polémica: los Skys buscan la cuneta tocan a Sorensen que se cae, tumba a Erviti y este arrastra a Valverde

Translate please. Bing translation turns it into, well...

To add to the drama of today (from a non-Movistar rider):

Ye there seem to be a common perception that Sky caused the crash and then they exploited it.

As far as I have understand it the Sky train hit Sørensen who crashed into Valverde and all went down

Bola is the last stage before Madrid... I seriously hope he doesn't leave it until then.

That's how much you nono's understand about cycling. When you have ever riden in a peloton you KNOW when the leader is DOWN you wait.

The point is, there is no reason for SKY to have any fear for a guy like Valverde. Froomy boy will rock him with minutes at any given TT.

I'm all ears about your days in the peloton.

And regarding waiting on the leader is down.. That depends on the situation.. Sky was going full gas, the race was very much going on, there were crosswinds and then the crash happened. In the middle of the race you can't just wait for anyone who's unlucky - red jersey included - otherwise we will never get to se any proper racing.

(If it turns out that Sky caused the crash themself, we obviously got a different situation but none of us know if they did by now. )

No reason to fear Valverde? Okay, then. You are right - especially after yesterday where he was s'hit... And you talk about respecting the leader?

Adam Hansen was the one who fell though, I think his word can be trusted on whether Sky did something wrong..?

So after this stage Team Sky will walk away with a reputation of being the guys who when creating crashes, at the same time, trying to benefit from it. I guess this is whats within their moral code when having guys like Wiggings around.

Safe to say, Contador will not be waiting until the penultimate day to try and break Froome. Sounds to me like he's taking a very methodical approach to testing Froome's limits. Now if he could figure out to break Froome's power meter, he'd be all set.

So far Hansen, Valverde and Rojas have stated that it was Sky who caused or provoked the crash.

I expect that Contador will crush everyone Sunday.

Purito really didn't look good.
