Contador wont win it. Henao could bea good bet, but I think he crashed in AGR and got a nasty cut. So I will go with Gilbert og maybe Quintana, but I would love to see an outsider again, like in AGR

Gets my vote:cool:

Other....OGE have played the Gerrans card and it will be Albasini's turn on Wednesday. Noticed he finished 2.16 down at Amstel, which means he would have done some hard riding to look after Gerro and then eased off late in the race to save himself for Wednesday, much like they did last year.

My guess is that Gerrans will sit out Wednesday and have another crack at Liege.

I would love to see Sagan riding one of "nothing to loose" races again. (out of list of favourites). I do not care if he is not there in the final as long as he enjoy the race. He does not have to prove anything to anybody anymore ( or at least to California and Tour ):D

Any news regarding his decission for Wednesday?

If he felt good at training today, why not?

Cannondale should let him rest. I just hope he's not gonna burn out too soon

I hope so too, however, it seems more to me the he wants to go for this one more than cannondale management. He must be pretty ****ed after sunday with his will to win everything he can. He also might be advised to go low profile and by any signs of tiredness, he should abandon. At least I hope it will be like this, because if not, he could easily get cooked for the rest of the season.

Btw, what is the weather forecast for wednesday? If he really had problems with the "heat", then cold weather forecast could influence the choice.

~20 degrees and no rain.

Any idea what was the weather during brabantse pilj? Yesterday according to sagan's words there was 27 degrees, and FW is also similar length compared Brabantse, although I guess the parkours are much harder. I guess it will depend on the pace. Nevertheless, I wouldn't be suprised if he did well neither if he sucks. However, if I were the others, I would be cautious. If he really had strong spasms on sunday and still finished only 35s behind Valverde, Gilbert the it's pretty nice result given the circumstances.

They made the same mistake with the guy who won yesterday.

I think Sagan need to be 100% btw to win this, don't see him doing it.

He has the fastest ascent of Chieti. If he is relatively fresh, he should be able to win this.

Are there any numbers during the training. Because if you have in mind last year's TA, then Nibali, Kreuziger and I don't rembemer who else was in that group should have the same time

Sagan FTW if he's racing. I chickrned out of calling Gilbert in 2011 and the scenario is similar.

Would cramping up and dehydrate in a reasonably hard classic have significant impact on the riders condition, riding a similar race 3 days later?
Any news on how Sagan felt today?

well, he should be racing FW, so I guess he felt OK. By the way, I read somewhere words from cannodale management, that sagan ate and drank ok during AGR. Or had you in mind dyhdratation during Brabatnse pilj?
