at first it was the usual - yeah i feel strong, hard climb ... but then he got a question and his answer went like this

eeeeehhhh, well, ooooooh, ummmmmm, ooooooooo,, iiiiii, oooooo, before he finally answered it. Could not decide which sylable to start with so just went through all the vowels in the alphabet.

I can imagine the bmc team listening to that and just doing 1 big massive facepalm

evans got to be a deathpenalty to any sponsor, australian or not, you don't want to be asociated with something like that.

I dunno, he could potentially be heavily injured

lol. imagine that. telling all your friends you are going to be standing on that climb and they see you and then bam, crash live on tv. hilarious stuff

This race report by Sky shows exactly where their priorities are...Brailsford seems disappointed after a stage where Uran won and moved up to 3rd overall! He obviously couldn't care less about Uran's success, it's all about Wiggins. I guess he only sees Uran good placement as something which could be used for Wiggins advantage...

betancurt said he waited until final km to attack because he didn't want to catch uran. uran is his friend and fellow "countryman" (antioquia, not colombia in this) lol, nice for ag2r to hear

in any event wether true or not and amazing display 1-2 for the colombians and both of them were the strongest too. :)
He did definitely talk about Colombians when he was interviewed in something that might pass for Italian.

This time last year, AG2R wasn't exactly an obvious destination for Betancur or Pozzovivo, either. Although the budget may not extend to three GC guys now.

They have Team Gadret as well, though whether he;ll still be in the Peloton next year is anybody's guess.

Uran however is a bigger name than all 3 would command a bigger salary. So yes, the budget should be a problem.

By the way, does anyone know what's wrong with Henao by now? Surely he must have a cold or something? Or just a bad day?

Unfortunately Sky's policy seems to be to never reveal it when their riders are sick or injured until they are healthy again...

it looked like a fake internet gif, except it was real

When did that happen? I haven't been able to see the whole stage. If it really looks like that gif with the guy who crashes down a canyon from a broken horizontal bar, I'd like to see it.

Moving Uran up to 3rd overall must feel a bit hollow after f*cking his GC calling him back last week.

Not sure if this'll work.

Was he pulling for the others much? I thought he was going to outclimb both Uran and Wiggins.
