Tough luck, RAI and the Italian weather service say it will be clear until Friday.

webvan said:Yep, excellent descender and very good all rounder, the Savoldelli of the current generation.

Tei6chai said:Well, by that measure the current generation must suck ... cos he's really not in Il Falco's league as a technical descender ... in fact I'd say that both Cancellara and Sagan were significantly better.
What Nibali has is enormous balls ... he's a risk taker, who expects to fall now and then ... and isn't in the least bit phased when it happens ... witness this week's ITT.
weather service is totally useless in most Italian soil.Ryo Hazuki said:rai and italian weather service have been wrong almost this entire giro
Ryo Hazuki said:henao won the vuelta colombia at age 22. that shoudl tell you enough. last year he was a helper in his first gt and he was at least 3 kg heavier than he is now.

He is the best climber amongst all GC contenders in this years Giro, and Giro is about climbingMiburo said:About the henao being a bigger favorite than wiggo thing:
I don't agree with that. Ok if wiggins keep descending like that, it's over. Actually it should have already been over sunday.
But otherwise it's true henao has a lot of potential but he only top 10 the giro last year. He hasn't proven that much in GT's, for sure not as much as Wiggo.
Ok he's in sky which he means he might break the record on the stelvio of course.
But Would Wiggo still race this if he can't win? I doubt it.
Henao hasn't shown much besides hanging on for dear life in last year's giro. He improved? yea sure but i doubt enough, for sure to do it consistently in a GT.
Besides we all know sky will screw over Henao![]()

Bushman said:Last year was his first Giro ever and he rode in support of Uran. In the third week he was incredibly strong as well and he seems to have improved overall this year. I think he is easily one of the three best climbers in the race.

Both climbs are total beats and in fact the steeper part of the last climb is a bit over 20%!!!!

Sophistic82 said:+1 but i think Hesjedal is done, doing Tour de Romandie right after that mega effort at LBL was big mistake.
