Lol, what has been boring about this Giro?

Sure this Giro is interesting if you enjoy the non-riding drama, but personally I would like to see something more like last year's Rodriguez vs Hesjedel exchanging the Maglia Rosa several times...

Who's gonna help chasing? Surely OPQS can't chase for 254 kilometres themselves. And if they let the break get too big of a gap, they won't be able to catch them and not drop Cavendish.

If they don't make the break then Orica, Cannondale, Bardiani, Lampre and Argos all have a good reason to get it back together, at least for the final climb.

Kenny Dehaes to win...

Agree with the above. Last chance for the sprinters today. If any of them are thinking of pulling out then today is their last shot.

Of course this depends if any of their team mates get in the break.

Also, depends how big the break is. If there's more than 6 maybe they have a chance, but a small bunch will tire.

I'm not so sure. If anything, yesterday showed that most teams don't want to pull for OPQS. I doubt that Lampre for Ferrari and Argos for Mezgec will help. Cannondale? Perhaps. Theoretically, GreenEdge and Goss should have a chance today and help chasing, but Goss has been horrible because of illness and from today on antibiotics as well, so I doubt they fancy his chances.

Goss hasn't exactly shown boatloads of form this season.

Sprinters teams to control the race, only to find the finale is too tough. Punchers to try their hands only for a reduced bunch sprint to be taken out by a GC contender.

Goss has been disappointing. I can't see him winning anything at the moment. He seems to be a couple of percentage points off his best sprint form and last year was also very disappointing. After winning MSR and running Cavendish close in quite a few previous sprints I thought he would get better but he hasn't, he's gone backwards. Last year Albasini and Gerrans were in good form for GE but this year it only seems to be Gerrans who can win stages for GE. Weening has showed glimpses without threatening to win.

Surely second is better than finished though? i never understand the mentality of refusing to help when you have a sprinter. Sure, force OPQS to do the bulk, but if you have a chance in a flat finish it's worth trying.

This could turn out to be a terribly boring Giro, but I have faith in Evans and Uran to light things up!

So far it has been a trillion times more exciting that the 2012 Tour

Me sleeping is also more exciting that the 2012 Tour. That's not so great thing. Still it's nowhere near for example to last years Vuelta.

We have had one tough mountain stage/finish so far, so of course it has yet to hit the heights of last year's Vuelta.

Or maybe it has, in that the intrigue in many stages has started from around 30km or even 50km out. Weather induced for sure, but still exciting.

We weren't to know that Hesjedal or Wiggins would drop out at the time. When they were struggling, it was a big deal.

Even the mountain stage was pretty exciting. Sky tactics were good, and there was decent racing in behind Uran after he jumped clear.

The time trial was as enjoyable a time trial as I have seen in a long time.

A very good Giro so far...and even if Nibali wins at a canter, it will still have been average at worst. But as somebody says above, I think we have the obvious ones like Evans and Uran, as well as some of the potential ointment flies like Betancur, Pozzovivo, Santambrogio, etc. These boys will all attack at some stage (maybe not Evans if Nibali drops). Hell even Scarponi and Gesink are definitely going to attack over the weekend.

Poor Giro for me You no something is up if Gesink gets on the podium, i mean after Hesjedal attacked early on i expected big things, now the top 10 does not have massive names. Also too much rain even for the Giro too many bugs bla bla. And not enough MTF early on i mean im bored right now lol, i cant wait for the weekend.
