If the next two stages are really easy, chance Nibali can ride the tour ?
zero. He wants to peak for the Worlds, hence he'll race the Vuelta.

It's a Grand Day to be a Lo Squalo fan......Crushed it!!!

But No talk about who is better vs. Berto......Berto still the King until he is dethroned. That may happen this year, but hopefully Not!

what happened to uran? he rode the 2nd fastest time on the 2nd part. but the first part was very bad

Negative splits. sky do that often, with their tt's.

So Nibali is the best ITTer too now? Huh...
On a flat straight tt he still loses significant time to Wiggins, probably Froome and Contador too. If it suits him though he looks brilliant.

That was really bad by Evans. What the hell happened?

his career is over. so far this giro has contained no real long climbs or anything. he can mask his lack of endurance on the climbs there. he is now a 100% mental rider with his body rapidly decreasing. I will guarantee you that if the dolomites continue a splanned he will lose a LOT more

It's really a shame that Nibali has won his GT's because of competition being poor/real contenders f*cking up. Gets him too much credit. Now he's going to win the Tour? Come on.

Saved it for the climb, negative splits, seemed very good tactics.

Don't know but he was not looking good at all. Looked like he was pushing a very heavy gear to me.

He said it himself. The 36 year old body does not recover like it used to.

Says the person who said he would not win the Tour continously during the 2011 tdf.

And yet, he was just designated BMC's leader (at a minimum co-leader) at the Tour. Don't know if his career is over, but I'm guessing BMC is re-thinking the call they made on the Tour. He really sh*t the bed with that ride.

The new Bertie ? Interesting...

Well all other climbers here are either

- Too old e.g. EVans, Scarponi, Sanchez

- Too young to be amazing yet - Majka, Betancur

- Average e.g. Uran, Intxausti

- Domestiques - Niemiec

....

I.e. The field isn't great. Nibs stands out by some mile from them all.

If that is the case there must be a lot of riders sleeping on the floor.
