On a flat straight tt he still loses significant time to Wiggins, probably Froome and Contador too. If it suits him though he looks brilliant.

his career is over. so far this giro has contained no real long climbs or anything. he can mask his lack of endurance on the climbs there. he is now a 100% mental rider with his body rapidly decreasing. I will guarantee you that if the dolomites continue a splanned he will lose a LOT more

Don't know but he was not looking good at all. Looked like he was pushing a very heavy gear to me.

And yet, he was just designated BMC's leader (at a minimum co-leader) at the Tour. Don't know if his career is over, but I'm guessing BMC is re-thinking the call they made on the Tour. He really sh*t the bed with that ride.

Well all other climbers here are either

- Too old e.g. EVans, Scarponi, Sanchez

- Too young to be amazing yet - Majka, Betancur

- Average e.g. Uran, Intxausti

- Domestiques - Niemiec


....

I.e. The field isn't great. Nibs stands out by some mile from them all.
