A bit off topic, but can anyone confirm which stages don't have the 3km rule enforced on them? Obviously the mountain top finishes, but what about the intermediate stages, like today for instance with the 5km relatively flat finish?

He was quoted as saying he wanted to get a stage win then see how the GC unfolded.
Obviously the team have targeted this stage. Hopefully yhey win it then calm down for a while before somebody has a go at winning the mountains classification for them.
To be fair not sure you need loads of your team in the mountains if you are not really fancied to win the whole thing.

I have no idea. Right now RAI commentators say Scarponi was very unlucky crashing at 4 kms to the finish, as the 3 km rule was valid...

Garzelli and Di Luca are 2'15 behind. Santa is '39.

Yes, I forgot about that; Santa could have a good chance, too bad Rabo is so far behind, I would love to see him in pink.

Highlighters unite. Going for pink.

Who will go for for it? Di Luca, Santa, Gatto, Rabo?

Rabottini is ideal, they won't let Santa go and Garzelli and Killer have to save them for mountains. For Gatto its too long i believe.

Whats up with Cataldo?I missed something?

Did he drop out? I have the stream on in the background, not paying that close of attention.

Still there, just finished 20 mins or so down yesterday, and right at the back again today
