What a joke, and Cav's teammate who caused that crash should be chucked off the TDF. Cav so wanted Yellow he looked good in the Intermediate not even going full gas. And no excuses for Contador please he fell but he is fine he was smiling two.:D

First, he was wedged. Second, he did the race a favor. Cav should be ashamed of saying he wanted yellow. He can't defend it, so he can't honor the jersey.

It's just a shame one of his kind ended up winning anyway.

Aaaaaand in the end another can't-climb-a-4th-cat sprinter wins - and worse, gets the most sacred jersey of all. Had some hopes for Rojas with everyone else down, but nope, there just had to be one of those left.

Whats next Cav did not deserve his World Championship:rolleyes:, You do no Cav a "pure sprinter" is double the rider Rojas is. Whats the big deal I dint want Kittel to win, I wanted Cav in yellow. But you cant have it the same always.

Pretty **** stuff from the organisers.

Once you say 3km to go, that should be it - you can't then fix the situation and switch again so late to the end - some teams had already burnt their riders up using the new official finish line.
Using the 3 km to go banner as the finish line would have been idiotic. It was about the least suitable spot in the whole course. And think of the spectators.

It wasn't ideal, but given the circumstances I don't see how they could have dealt with it in a better way.

To be fair Cavendish could defend it a lot better than Kittel.
