The rule sucks for flat sprint stages. It should be changed to atleast 10km imo.

What a joke, and Cav's teammate who caused that crash should be chucked off the TDF. Cav so wanted Yellow he looked good in the Intermediate not even going full gas. And no excuses for Contador please he fell but he is fine he was smiling two.

Pretty **** stuff from the organisers.

Once you say 3km to go, that should be it - you can't then fix the situation and switch again so late to the end - some teams had already burnt their riders up using the new official finish line.

Using the 3 km to go banner as the finish line would have been idiotic. It was about the least suitable spot in the whole course. And think of the spectators.

It wasn't ideal, but given the circumstances I don't see how they could have dealt with it in a better way.
