I hope to God the Orica Green Edge bus driver, his vehicle and the goddam kangaroo are thrown off the Tour. There can be no pulling of punches.

Last year their lead outs for Goss seemed to end in disaster. They seemed to have stepped up their game so far by crashing the bus.

It happened for years when there were bonus seconds at the finish and sprinters got yellow regularly. I honestly don't see the problem.

What about Hejsedal whose crash was 12k from the end ( so no 3k no matter how hard you try)

I got the impression that they made the decision as a result of Hoogerland's crash (which was even further from the end than Hesjedal's) rather then because of the 3km rule.

I'm quite sure I saw him riding behind the guys on the left after they gathered themselves, looks like being at the back worked out but not feeling good about his positioning.
