Are you for real? No way this is an excuse if he loses what is wrong with saying that Flo. You no full well I said Please no crashes. Do you really think im glad he crashed:rolleyes:. He as not broke a bone we hear and watch the crash, Contador fell in the middle, the main crash was left side were G.Thomas went over the handle bars. Contador looked in no pain atall to me.:D

If you can watch the replay again, Contador crashed on the left side, right behind the main crash. Look behind the pole and you'll see him getting up pretty quickly. Kreuziger was the one in the middle.

Also, the Lampre rider did a nice face plant way off to the left.

EDIT: Saxo-Tinkoff rider #99 went down on the ride side of the road. They weren't about to miss a move.

Can't believe people are still arguing whether sprinters deserve GC jerseys. Wo cares? Seriously the least interesting talking point after that stage.

Indeed! Whoever crossed the line first earned it. A sprinter will never keep it so let him enjoy it while he has it.

What a total ****, taking pleasure in a crash
I don't.

That was just a mix of shadenfreude and frustration over the failure of Radioshack's attempt to break the peloton.

Anyway, what's done is done. All I hope now is that tonight, when Kittel looks himself in the mirror with the yellow on, he realizes tomorrow won't be a day like any other in his career. And that for once, he can't allow himself to slip to the grupetto. Fight on.

Dude, stop it. Rewatch the crash and read the reports. He hurt shoulder, elbow and knee.

Re. Madiot - From the bus and finish line changes? Or crashes? If the latter, what did he expect? A 50km ITT or MTF on stage one? 20km of a straight, wide flats up to the finish? Crashes suck, but this happens every year. Stuck bus or no stuck bus.

Ah so the arch structure at the finish was lowered,as usual, once all the vehicles had passed through. No explanation why orica bus was there.

Apparently it was running late, as does happen to a number of teams throughout these races. One wonders why the organisers didnt alert the driver/team and have them re-routed down the escape road ? A lesson for the OGE team (and frankly a warning to ALL teams) AND the organisers to have procedures in place for team buses/race transport etc
