Some people really are overrating kreuziguer. When was the last time he did a good time trial?

When was the last time he looked this strong in the mountains? I think he's in great form here, but I might be proven wrong, of course.

Well, not an itt, but in the ttt he matched (according to Rolf Sørensen) Tony Martin's speed for quite a while, and was the guy who was by far the strongest on Saxo. Sørensen has him as a joker today, with a possible podium place.

But who knows...

When was the last time he didn't collapse in a GT?

Still some think he should be the leader instead of the guy who won 7 GT's because he was better in 1 mountain stage

Why do people always wanna ruin a rider by making him a GC-rider?

I wouldn't want him to do anything that he doesn't want to, but it would be surely impressive if he did do it and had success.

He has scored points on every individual stage so far, perhaps looking for the full set.

I think it's likely he collapses, yes, but not during a pan flat TT and not before stage 16 or so.

Who says he should be the team leader anyway? I do expect him to beat Contador's time today, but I'm sure Contador will be much better in the Alpes.

Can somebody make a quick calculation for Martin's wattage output today? Is it even possible for Froome to beat his time?

Sagan pretty good. Stupid question: are green jersey points up for grab today?

if you stop race now, he is 7th gets 9 pts .

But we have at least 6 main guys yet to come.
so even if he comes 13th spot he still gets 3 pts

6 main guys, and there are also people like Velits e.g., who do good in the ITT and will probably be better than two minutes down on Martin, and those will take the other points

Anyway big LOL at De Gendt. The most inconsistent rider of all time. I'm always baffled at him :D

He's actually rather consistent in his bigotry. Again didn't warm up before the TT. This guy is pure folklore. The only reason he could be arsed to ride a decent TT was because he knew Martin was behind him and didn't want to get caught.

So much wasted potential on this guy.
