I had an argument last night with a guy on ESPN who was saying that Schleck would challenge for the win, because he was the 2-time time trial champion of Luxembourg.

Lol, so I guess you won that argument?

I've such an aweful feeling for Contador in the ITT :(
Tbh it doesn't really matter that much. He'll need to crack Froome in the Alpes no matter what.

Oh cmon, that's actually very decent if you think how many collapsed later on If Costa has something left he will do well.

Costa fans must remember that this is not the Tour de Suisse but actually the Tour de France, where Costa is against the big boys.

Seems hard to judge riders at the first time check. Some have done poorly but left a lot in the tank and finish pretty high. Others have gone out too hard and faded.

Kwiatkkowski seems to be putting in a good tt.

Confirms what we always knew, ESPN doesn't know sh!t about cycling. You should have made a bet with him and won some easy money. :p

Wasn't Van Garderen a guy who was gonna podium the tour according to many cyclist journalists?

Andy is totally blown away. Would be down 6-8 mins.... Out of top 25 possibly :(

Very poor performance indeed. I know its not his strong skill but this is just too much..

Being further down will just open up his opportunities to attack and break away, don't despair. Still got plenty of chances to move back up in this Tour. He was always going to lose a lot in the TT anyways.
