I'll never understand why teams don't force the strongest rider and his team to work. That's how you win the race! Katusha and BMC just ridiculous.

The strongest rider also has the yellow jersey. They have the unwritten responsibility to ride, yet others are bending over backwards to help them.

Katusha and BMC would get a free ride, yet they choose to do the chasing.

Exactly they shouldn't care. So why are they taking sides?

They aren't. They still have to work to distance the group behind containing their closest rivals and it's silly to just give the guys in front time.

How far away is that bump? Saxo and Contador should get a handy lead while going over that.

They aren't, they're riding to keep Mollema, ten Dam and Kreuziger within range.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't like this either. I'd much rather have Sky be forced to work on their own and make this tour exciting again, but I understand why Katusha and BMC are doing what they're doing.

They're riding for their own interest, and I can't blame them for that, even though I don't like the result.

now it's ok - Lotto and sky are the teams that need to work for Greipel/Froome the rest has no business chasing.

Where is Lotto? They should pull really hard for Greipel and I don't see them sharing the work with Sky/BMC.
