How much work did the Skyborgs do today? Enough for isolating Froome early on?

Not a single rider from other teams has come to the front since they let the break go, not one.

i had called trentin, after the 18 member group was formed.

Totally happy. Trentin, i think, was taught by cav to come from behind and take the win.

A very good move by Talansky. He will end up almost 45s ahead of BMC's Evans.

Shame on BMC to not speed things up to protect their team leader's position, while they rode to help Froome yest.

Free top10 ride for Talansky, and maillot blanc

Can someone explain why katusha and ag2r didn't ride at the end of the stage?

I know they had some guys but they were never gonna get caught. Yesterday they were so busy securing their top 10 and now this?

Talansky up to 12th overall, right behind Dan Martin. Hopefully the Garmin duo can put in some good rides in the mountains. Top 10 could still be possible.

Will OPQS target to get 4th different rider winning stage? I remember lots of triples in recent years, but not better.

Who?

From the remaining stages, there is only one stage where a diff rider can win, and I don't think GC riders will like tht. Unless, there is a pull-me-and-take-win deal.

Chavanel is well capable of winning in a breakaway. I am hoping for some Bastille day magic tomorrow (v. unlikely). If Kwiatowski falls out of GC he would be a good shout, he can climb and sprint.

Why shouldn't BMC, Katusha, or AG2R ride? Kreuziger, Ten Dam, Fuglsang, and even Rogers are all guys that stand in the way of what they want: a higher place overall.

Those secondary guys in the first group can still be pulled back in the last week. why give them free time now?

EDIT: and wouldn't you know it. Eurosport talking to the BMC DS says exactly that

This basically. Why would they let Contador & Mollema go? It was obvious Sky were too weak to pull.

Haha, why didn't BMC and Katusha ride to protect their riders today? One team definitely has the biggest squad in Tour De France history

The other 'winner' of the stage has to be Saxo. After all that effort yesterday, they get a chauffeur-driven ride today.

"Home James!"....:)
