Froome obviously won't lose 5 minutes but the battle for the podium between Contador, Quintana and J-Rod should be awesome.

What a failure this stage was. Other than the French getting their stage win, it offered almost no excitement. Froome ahd his little issue and Bertie attacked on the descent but neither one was serious. I thought this stage was going to be epic and we only got a below average mountain stage.

You must have been watching a different race. There was action over the entire stage unlike most mountain stages which only have action in the last climb

hoping they won't punish Porte for that but Froome, since Froome told him to go get a gel for Froome. Froome would've lost more if Porte hadn't done that.

One of the reasons Porte got it was so that he might get the 'penalty' instead of Froome.

Froome actually bonks on the L'Alpe D'Huez, and Saxo had managed to unravel themselves to the extent that Contador is not even in the neighbourhood. Doubt the descent could have taken much from him though.

All moot anyway. Bat**** attacking was required before, and bat**** attacking is required now.

Froome at least looking human. Wasn't acting this time.

Pretty disgusting by Sky. Showing they have no disregard for rules, but in saying that, this type of thing might happen more than I realize.

Theirs a surprise you want CF punished for taking a gel with 4 kms to go heck lets give him a 5 minute penalty so he looses the TDF.

It happens all the time but not with the leaders. No one cares if Cavendish or Kittel munch on something in the autobus.

People seem to get done for this every so often. I think Roche did during his famous comeback in 1987. If it saves you more time than it costs than it is worth doing it i suppose.

That bonk was coming really and Froome didnt help himself by making those attacks with 10k to go. He might have paid as well for the pretty mental start to the race where he chased saxo by himself

The funny thing is you would say the same if he won the stage, do you actually have anything constructive too say. Sky fanboys you should be ashamed is your av line isn't it. Who do you cheer for by the way?

That's illegal, of course everybody wants him to get punished. He was dead at the end, imagine what would have happened without the energy gel. But fanboys don't have to worry, he will get 20 seconds or something like that what surely won't matter at the end.
