Yeah nice try. In vain though

Why do u mean in vain ?? He's got great lead,, u cant ask more than that in a single day especially on a stage like this,, he'll come back 2moro to consolidate it

Great stage for Cofidis though. Navarro isn't in shape to comepte with the best climbers but with 2 great breakaways he still managed to get into the top10. Funny how he is better than Valverde who was up there each MTF and TT :)

Disappointing stage from a GC perspective, very disappointing. Rolland's was the sole entertaining ride of the day.
Tomorrow is a much better stage for GC attacks. If somebody feels really strong they may send team mates into the early breaks on the Cat 3 climbs and then attacks on Mont Revard. If the peleton is broken up and somebody can get away into a group on the flat before the final climb, they could gain significant time. Otherwise, if it stays together it'll be a charge to the foot of Annecy-Semnoz and an 11km fight to the finish.

He's a point behind Froome, and the final climb tomorrow gives 50pts with the GC leaders expected to contend it.

There 23 points left for Rolland to get assuming he has no chance on the HC climb tomorrow. If Rolland gets all them then he'd need Froome to finish 6th or lower tomorrow and Quintana to finish 4th or lower.
