I love these threads arriving early!

Well in my view - you gotta attack early doors.

But in reality who has the legs

Surely Saxo are still the strongest team and must send Kreuziger up the road.

Maybe Valverde ?

Valverde finishing just behind Froome today - what could have been ?

If Quintana has balls of steel - could he break Froome on the Madeleine.

Minutes could drop by the second. . . . . .

Movistar and Katusha would hunt down Kreuziger like a hungry pack of wolves

Purito ftw. Uphill finish after a long descent, Purito's legs should be more explosive than yesterday when Quintana beat him to the line.

Crucial day for Contador also. Purito and Quintana clearly looks fresher. Think he might lose his podium spot to day.

just wanted to say vamos nairito!!!
and saxo bring the hell!

Saxo are cooked. They might try but will be blank shots. Still not a bad Tour they have ridden and might finish with 3 in top 10.

Movistar and Katusha should put hurt on Froome and Sky. That he depleted his suger depots yesterday might be felt today as well.

Belkin... its all over for them. Fuglsang will finish 6th

Movistar might go after Froome, they have strength in numbers. Katusha on the other will firstly try to get Purito into a podium spot, and their aim will therefore be Contador who is just 47s ahead of Purito and is showing weakness.

I can see Quintana riding defensively to protect his podium spot, not so Contador. I have no idea who's going to win though. It's not a mountain finish so I'm hesitant to consider Froome.

But wont Quintana try get those 20 seconds on Contador? Surely he will try.
Contador will launch a couple of failed attacks; Breakaway to get away.

Quintana and J-Rod will both try to take time on Contador tomorrow on the steep finish.

Well, if Purito and Quintana doesn't take any time on Contador today and Contador rides just to protect his 2nd place tomorrow, it won't be so easy to take time on him on the last climb, at least not for Purito who is 47s back. As I see it, both Purito and Quintana should put pressure on Contador today.

Such a wide open stage ...

Nieve will surely go hard early. If he gets over the first two climbs first he lead the KOTM.

Evans, Costa, Schleck etc etc.

De Gendt the one for me though. Seems plain that he has targeted this stage.

A lot of teams have interests today. Nieve, for instance, must get points on the Glandon and the Madeleine. But as he's ridiculously bad on the flat, he will have to attack on the Glandon, maybe with Astarloza / Izagirre to support him. I expect Riblon to crack today after yesterday's effort.

That may be true but the this stage doesn't really suit Nairo or Purito.
