But if Quintana attacks on Madeline he will have 3 more mountains, he will chased down by three good teams in the form of Saxo.Katusha,sky.. he cant/wont risk that

saxo will attack as well, not chase, same purito. besiees where do they want to chase? it's almost all uphill except the valley in which he would have 3 helpers

For once I agree with Ryo.......(!)

Tactical purposes, hopefully to help out Contador/Quintana after attacking at the Madeleine descent, but maybe a bit later.

If Froome responds well (as we all expect him to), the tactic won't work anyway.

Why would they wait till later? WHy not use the Madeline if its there? at least to shed 1 or 2 sky domestiques, get a reaction out of Froome and rattle sky a little.

So so bored of watching the Sky train. Why the hell don't some other teams shake them up more and dictate their own pace? At least make them think a bit.

Funny how people complain about the Sky train when Sky is leading the peloton, then complain about why other teams are helping Sky do their jobs when Sky is not leading the peloton.

He should wait for Rolland after Madeline and take it easy and ride until the last climb and then think of winning the stage if he wants a stage win
