Really good ride by Dombrowski today too, solo for most of the climb and still managed to get 10th.

Rui Costa opens the sprint, Van Garderen gives it a good try, but Spaniard wins!

Remember he won this thing last year and finished 3rd in Romandie twice as well. He's a pretty decent climber and he's probably closer to peak form than the others, he just can't hang with the top climbers in a GT.

He is pointing everything at the Tour this year so he isn't closer to his peak then guys like Pinot.

Is Costa or R.K. better a time trialing?

I think R.K. is but the mountain will suit Costa more.

Costa is better.

I do not understand how Kreuziger gets the hype in TT's , he has been **** in them since some time...

pretty great stage to be honest, dombrowski and andy made it fun for me. also the banner, well at least they placed it in the corner where they got slow speed otherwise it could had happened something ugly.

rui costa, awesome win. but nothing is sure, flumserberg itt will be a very long effort. even spilak if he finds a super form can win the overall

Sh*t cost Mollema the victory...
He was already gapped on the descent before that thing collapsed. I actually think moto guy lent him a hand, since he was way behind on one shot and then suddenly with Costa and Tejay on the next.

and ofcourse no credit to Mollema for basically opening the real attack on GC and doing most of the initial work until Costa took over ;)
Thought you liked attackers :)

Hmm didn't know that. Though considering he can't usually hang with the likes of Pinot in the Tour maybe his base form is simply better.

I've always seen Rui Costa as someone who can climb really well in smaller races but who comes just a bit short when the best of the best are there at 100%. I guess that could be a recovery issue or having a more stable form throughout the year.
