Goss should be favourite now shouldn't he?

Him and Sagan I'd say. We'll have to see how Sagan's form is, he did get a 2nd in the final stage of San Luis. But the sprinting competition wasn't great for that stage.

It is wrong. It makes no sense and does not match the profile. I will be interested to see how Evans rides. Not expecting much but I am still hopeful.

I know it's wrong, I just think it seems strange the most important stage in the race. Anyways I am sure Contador will bag this race.

OGE are taking a very strong sprint team with all of the key Goss men riding. Lancaster should be fitter for his first race in Qatar and Impey is hopefully ok after his heavy crash at TDU. Mouris, Beppu and Keukeleire were involved in the sprint train for Kroupis at Qatar with Baden Cooke for the swingman on the tougher stages to either sprint himself or to guide Goss through to the finish.

Riders

Baden Cooke
Brett Lancaster
Daryl Impey
Fumy Beppu
Jens Keukeleire
Jens Mouris
Matthew Goss

Stage 2 will be a fantastic spectacle also don't forget. The climb of Al Jissah is on a decent road but it's average is around 8% for 2 miles. That'll blow a lot of "training" riders out the back and a lot of sprinters.

My man for the Overall .... secret ! I'll tell my Members tonight and get a decent price in the bookies on him first.

Tell ya' ll tomorrow.

Is there a full start list anywhere?

With the exception of mathew bushe, Radioshack are sending their main classics team. Any other teams doing the same?

Actually only sky have a team for the GC by the looks of it. The others seem to have their classics team lined up.

I doubt that Froome is in any shape, unlike people like Contador and Evans Froome hasn't really showed us anything in the early months of the season.

On the other hand a lot of things has changed since last year so maybe you never know, he'll top 10 but I don't expect more than that.

Looking at the riders who are racing this :eek:

Real awesome field: evans, contador, froome, wiggins, nibali, boonen, gilbert, cancellara, purito, sagan.

Excluding valverde and cavendish I think we got the biggest names in cycling.

Thus obviously i'm superhyped for this, especially since the parcours is pretty good. I like the hilly stages and then 1 big mountain stage, awesome!!

Btw laflo, you're being ridiculous with Froome being skinny, at tour form Contador is exactly the same. Besides we only see a part of Froome his body in that picture.
