Btw laflo, you're being ridiculous with Froome being skinny, at tour form Contador is exactly the same. Besides we only see a part of Froome his body in that picture.

No way, Alberto can be skinny but he's never anorexic.

I doubt that Froome is in any shape, unlike people like Contador and Evans Froome hasn't really showed us anything in the early months of the season.
If one brags by winning out-of-shape Contador, one should admit that a rider of comparable level can do the same, no?

The thing is that Contador has shown many times he can do it early in the season, with some riders for whatever reason it takes more time to get in shape.

Froome hasn't proved that yet, i've no doubt it's possible but Contador is a more certain factor.

Denying that would be ***, even by your standards airstream ;)

Yeh, with your scale of riders' off-form, many people on here are ***.

We'll hear Contador attacks, Froome follows and then an hour later a photograph of a printed top 5 will appear on twitter. Love it.

Seems a shame when race threads move away from discussing the race and into slanging matches about the comparative merits of posters' favourite top riders.

I come here wondering who team leaders are likely to be, who people think will go well or just turn up for the training ride etc etc?

Oh well, I can but hope I suppose.

I like the Sagan v Gilbert question posed earlier for example.

How about the Kittel/Degenkolb mix? Kittel only any hope whatsoever for stage 1 & 6?

Is Goss going to get any stage wins at all?

Are any of the Italian sprinters actually going to be consistent for a change? Fortin to spring some surprises perhaps?

Is Gallopin going to podium again and a good bet for taking GC?

The list of discussion points could be endless...

And froome will later turn out to have actually been someone else.

nibali must be a little worried:D

FA PAURAAA!

and he even says:

“I won’t be able to. I’m too heavy at the moment,” Wiggins said.

The Robot seems to be right on the track for the giro win. i wish someone could take him down but i'm afraid no one will stand a chance

I dont think gallopin will win the gc because of the green mountain. Another climber can easily put time into him. But i think he can win a hilly stage.

Do you think Sky intend to rehearse a train?

Honestly i cant stand sky's robotic trains anymore. I understand that this is what works for them but it is extremely boring and predictable. They signed another time trial ace in kiriyenka so basically they ll be riding a TTT up the green mountain. I hope contador and a few others derail this train.

froomey is back in uber skinny mode

he's gonna win this race, hope for a showdown

LOL, Chris Horner should take both Froomey and Dombrowski to McDonald's.
Could finish with a box of Snicker's bars, I bet Horner would say.

(Man, has Dombrowski hit the big leagues, or what. Not that long out of high school, I think. Imagine on a training ride with Wiggo just behind you. They must have measured his watts/kg. At 6'1", 150 lbs only, it must be high.)

I would have thought same about Gallopin but he hung in their last year on the Green Mountain, however this year i expect a much higher pace from Saxo, Katusha and Sky.

HArd to see past contador for me I will be betting on him.
