Guess Cancellara is really going for WC.

He took 1min20 to Martin in the climb

He is a fat guy who also goes well downhill. Especially on a TT bike.

But that's the Vuelta. I'll believe the times when I see them.

A time check in the middle of the climb but no time checks at the bottom or at the top of the climb ?

The first time split was questionable but doesn't surprise me that Cancellara and Cataldo did better on the 2nd part. They will probably slip back a bit again on the downhill/flat though.

There should be. How else are they going to award KoM points?

Not close to being fat lately. He would love to be World champ. I wouldn't be surprised to see also Sagan in the mix at the worlds.

If there are no mistakes in the time checks, then Cance is most definitely ready for worlds!

I don't think Cancellara will lose that much time in the descent, if he loses any at all.
Barta only lost 9 seconds.. And Cance is a beast in descents..

Cancellara might win, but i still maintain my martin-canc duo for the first 2 spots.

canc is using the adv of knwoing the time he has to beat.

Come on... the advantage is maybe 5%, he is just better today.

Good to see Cancellara back to top shape in TT's again. Anyway I prefer to see him winning the road race.

51:00 and a whole 37 sec ahead of TM.

thats the advantage of knowing the time to beat, or is it?
