With the exception of Saxo, no GC rider or sprinter has had much team help this entire race. There's an attack... and then it stays away.

Thats almost poetry. :)

Why is Van Rensburg in this break anyway? Was he worried about the time limit? Presumably not, given that he's still with some very good climbers. So what's he at?

Laura Meseguer on tv again yayy!!

Laura is on Eurosport every day, multiple interviews per day. And her cameraman always keeps her on-screen. You gotta switch to the ES coverage if you wanna see your great love more often :D

They split as climb starts, so if they dont catch him on the flat, doubt he'll be caught.

He will have used much more energy out in front alone so will be more tired when he hits the climb

Hes far superior rider to anyone in the break though ;)

CAS would probably gain a bit of time on the last climb, but at 1.30 it is likely not to be enough

the chasers are slowing down a bit. gap is a min and half, and peloton at 6. CAS may have extra duty today, by the looks of it.

Kiri wins, unless something goes worng

give some credit to kiri. He is one of the integral members of the sky train. this guy is capable of pulling a peloton easily over cat 1 and HC climbs on his own.

plus kiri has said earlier that he liked vuelta better than tour.
