We are in Asturias and Oviedo. If you want, you can change Angliru stage for this one:

Would you like the change?. :p

You posted the exact same thing in the stage thread. What does it mean? I mean, surely you're looking for some kind of reaction...

Probably something to do with the fact the leader's jersey used to be golden at the Vuelta, not red.

Not for one minute suggesting Konig will win tomorrow, but curious to know why he's not in the poll, considering some of the other names there.

At the moment he looks stronger than both Pozzovivo and Pinot. He maybe even be able to hold off Pinot and even overtake Pozzovivo on GC tomorrow.

While I agree that option 9 is a subset of option 10, realistically he will probably be focusing on Sanchez tomorrow.

Is there a way to have less than 10 options? I made my lat poll too long ago to remember

Aha, perhaps that answers my question. Are polls limited to 10 options? If so I can see why the OP may have had to leave Konig out and group the carrots and CJR riders.

Is anyone able to give a breakdown on the KoM points on offer tomorrow please?

I'm curious to know what Edet's chances are of keeping the jersey.

Current standings & pts:

1. Edet - 38
2. Ratto - 30
3. Horner - 22
4. Txurruka - 22
5. Cardoso - 20

Thank you.

That rules out Horner nicking it by default in the event of the stage win then. Will be interesting to see if Ratto is up for it and how the CJR boys decide to play it. Personally I hope Edet can hold onto it as I think he deserves it with the aggression he's shown, especially early on in the race. But then again, Txurruka has been in virtually every break going so wouldn't begrudge him the jersey either.

Correct, I thought the carrots and CJR riders would be better bets for the stage win then Konig would (especially if they get themselves in a break). Plus this is his first GT, I think he'll probably try to just hang onto his top 10. And winning Angliru against guys like Nibali, Horner, Valverde, Purito, etc. might be a little too much to ask of him (but that would be pretty great if he did ;)).

Does anyone think that one of Sky's columbians might try to get in the break, or will they be saving themselves for the worlds.

I'm hoping they do, without any chance of a good GC placing going in the break is there only way of getting some success. And tomorrows is pretty much their last chance.

I'd like to see Anacona and Betancur in the break as well. I don't think it would put in danger their worlds chances too much. If anything it should at least give them some good training.

Not yesterday. He was dropped by a furious acceleration of Papi Horner on the steepest ramp.

Everytime Nibali looks the worst after 3 or more days in a row in the mountains though. Angliru is the 3rd day. I fear the worst for Nibali. If he has a day like last week then he could even lose 2 min+ and lose podium

The community has it nailed.

Either Horner or Joaquim Rodriguez - I voted for Horner

Nibali got the majority of his time in the TT and has cracked at the end of each stage.

His only saving grace is that he's won a grand tour before.

Regardless who wins, it's going to be a fun watch
